Yoloha Unity Pro Cork vs B Mat Everyday: Which One Should You Buy?
Both cover about the same floor at 26 inches wide, and both come up when people shop for a mat that holds on when they sweat. The Yoloha Unity Pro Cork is thicker, firmer and nearly three pounds heavier. The B Mat Everyday is $41 cheaper, and in a separate 2023 review GearLab made it its top choice for sweaty hands.

The quick answer
For grip, the B Mat has the stronger evidence: GearLab's 2023 review found its rubber held even with a hand in a puddle of sweat, while its 2026 test of the Yoloha found moderate grip and a slick surface once wet. The B Mat is also lighter and cheaper. The Yoloha answers with a thicker, extra-firm build, bigger size options, a better reputation for lasting, and GearLab's approval for outdoor practice.
If your hands sweat or you carry your mat, buy the B Mat Everyday. Buy the Yoloha if you want a firm, stable platform, need a longer or 30 inch wide mat, or practice outside, and the mat can mostly stay home.

Thicker and heavier, or thinner and tackier
The Yoloha Unity Pro Cork costs $159: 6 mm of cork and natural rubber on a plant foam base, 72″ × 26″, 7 pounds, made in the USA. The B Mat Everyday costs $118: 4 mm of dense rubber that’s tacky on both faces, 71″ × 26″, 4.1 pounds, made in Spain. They cover almost the same floor, and the rubber mat is $41 cheaper.
Shoppers look at both for sweaty classes, and they handle sweat differently. Cork grips best with a little moisture on it. b, halfmoon’s rubber grips from the first minute and keeps gripping through pooled sweat.
GearLab reviewed both, in different years
GearLab’s March 2026 roundup put the Unity Pro 10th of 19 at 66 out of 100, with 7.5 for dry grip and 6 for wet. Its bottom line calls the mat durable, eco-friendly, stable and antimicrobial, but heavier and more expensive than most.
The B Mat Everyday isn’t in the 2026 roundup. Its GearLab review is a standalone one dated November 2023 and still listed under the brand’s former B Yoga name. It rated the mat among the grippiest GearLab had tried, wet or dry, and its top pick for sweaty hands. Different years and test rounds, so the scores aren’t comparable.
That 2023 review did name a Yoloha. For readers after grip and durability, it suggested a Yoloha Unity cork mat, citing excellent wet grip and saying it would likely last much longer than the B Mat. It doesn’t say Pro, and the 2026 test of the Unity Pro listed slick when wet among its cons, so we’d go by the newer result on grip.
Sweaty hands: the rubber holds on
GearLab found that sweat pools on the B Mat’s surface instead of soaking in, and the grip held anyway, even with a palm in a puddle. There was no break-in period.
The Yoloha grips moderately wet or dry, by GearLab’s account, and works best after a light misting before practice. Water sits on the cork too, so GearLab suggests a towel once sweat pools. Yoloha’s page says no towel is needed even in the sweatiest classes, which GearLab’s result doesn’t back up. For heavy sweaters, the evidence favors the B Mat.
Sliding into a lunge, or stepping
The B Mat’s grip has a cost. Sliding hands and feet across it made some of GearLab’s testers feel stuck, and many switched to stepping between poses. GearLab’s view is that unless you sweat a lot, it may be more grip than you want in Ashtanga or vinyasa, with their frequent gliding transitions.
GearLab raised no such complaint about the Unity Pro, and praised how planted it feels instead: extra-firm, stable and grounding under a loaded wrist or standing foot.
Almost three pounds apart
At 7 pounds against 4.1, the Yoloha drew heavy and bulky on GearLab’s cons list. Rolled, it’s about 5 inches across by Yoloha’s figure. The B Mat rolls down to 3.5 to 4 inches, per GearLab, and is light enough to carry to class without much strain.
In a home studio that barely matters, though GearLab found even the heavy Yoloha can slide a little on smooth hardwood. For a walk or ride to class, the B Mat is easier to own.
Lint, water marks and the outdoors
GearLab says the B Mat picks up dirt, hair and lint relentlessly, so it recommends a mat bag and keeping it off the ground, and it isn’t GearLab’s first choice for practice outside. Its sample also showed water stains, hence the advice to pick a darker color. Cleaning is water and neutral soap, and b, halfmoon wants it rolled logo side out.
The Yoloha is the one GearLab likes outdoors, calling its firmness one of the most stable bases for outside practice. Cleaning is a light spray and an air dry. Its care and cleaning score was still the lowest of the 19, a 5, in a category that also counts portability.
GearLab warns of a rubber tire smell when you unwrap the B Mat, gone after two days of airing. Yoloha claims its mat has no smell.
Peeling reports against a durable rating
GearLab’s market research turned up owners whose mats peeled at the hand and foot spots, and the grip went with the top layer; not very durable is among its reasons to avoid. b, halfmoon designs its mats for 2+ years of practice, it says, and its one-year Everyday warranty excludes sun damage, dirt, stains and ordinary wear, hand and foot marks included.
Yoloha describes the Unity Pro as its most durable and sustainable mat to date but backs it with no warranty, and GearLab’s 2026 bottom line calls it durable. So the cork has the better reputation for lasting, while the B Mat is the only one with written cover.
Latex in both, and two kinds of eco claim
Neither suits a latex allergy. According to b, halfmoon’s FAQ, its rubber includes natural and synthetic components; the mat contains no PVC and holds an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certificate, meaning the finished product was screened for harmful substances. Natural rubber is also mixed into the Yoloha’s cork surface.
Yoloha’s pitch is renewable content instead: USDA certification for 83% bio-based material, mainly cork, natural rubber and sugarcane, in a mat made in the USA without PVC or plasticizers.
Sizes, returns and buying direct
b, halfmoon sells the Everyday at us.bhalfmoon.com for $118, in seven colorways at last count, plus an 85″ × 26″ Everyday Long for taller people; its site shows 4.8 stars from 173 reviews. Returns are accepted for 30 days if the mat is unused and unopened, and sale items can’t come back.
The Unity Pro is $159 from yolohayoga.com, in plain cork or printed designs, and in two larger sizes: 80″ × 26″ ($179) and 84″ × 30″ ($219). Yoloha also gives 30 days and free return shipping in most of the US, but won’t take a mat back with dirt or marks on it.

Bottom line
Pick the B Mat Everyday if your hands sweat, you carry your mat, or you’d rather keep $41. GearLab found it among the grippiest mats it has tested, and it’s nearly three pounds lighter. Expect lint, a rubbery smell for the first couple of days, and a surface that fights sliding transitions.
Get the Yoloha if you want a thicker, firmer platform for balance work, want to practice outdoors, or need a bigger size, and the mat can mostly stay home. Wet the spots under your hands before class and keep a towel close when you sweat.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is the Yoloha Unity Pro worth $41 more than the B Mat Everyday?
- Only for its size, firmness or materials. The Yoloha is 6 mm thick against 4, extra-firm and very stable in GearLab's test, comes in 80 and 84 inch versions, and is made in the USA from mostly renewable materials. For grip, the B Mat has the better record: GearLab called it one of the grippiest mats it had tested, wet or dry, in a separate 2023 review. It's also nearly three pounds lighter.
- Which is better for hot yoga or sweaty hands?
- The B Mat Everyday. GearLab's 2023 review made it the top choice for sweaty hands and found the traction held even with a hand in pooled sweat. GearLab's 2026 roundup scored the Yoloha 6 out of 10 for wet grip, listed slick when wet as a con, and suggested a towel once sweat pools. The two reviews come from different years, so they aren't a head-to-head, but they point the same way.
- Is the B Mat too grippy?
- It can be. GearLab found that sliding hands and feet across it made some testers feel stuck, so many stepped between poses instead, and it suggests the mat may be too grippy unless you sweat heavily, especially in Ashtanga or vinyasa with frequent gliding transitions. GearLab didn't raise that problem with the Yoloha.
- Which one lasts longer?
- Probably the Yoloha, though only the B Mat comes with a warranty. GearLab's bottom line calls the Yoloha durable, and Yoloha calls it its most durable mat to date. GearLab's market research found B Mat owners reporting peeling where hands and feet land, and b, halfmoon's one-year warranty excludes that kind of normal wear. Yoloha offers no warranty at all.
- Does the B Mat smell?
- At first. GearLab described a strong rubber tire smell out of the box that was gone after two days of airing out of direct sun. Yoloha says its cork mat has no smell, though it notes a new one can shed some light cork dust.
- Can I return either mat after using it?
- No. b, halfmoon takes returns within 30 days only if the mat is unused and still in its packaging, and sale items are final. Yoloha also allows 30 days, with free return shipping on the standard size in most of the US, but the mat must come back free of damage, dirt and marks, and it deducts $10 if the original packaging is missing.
